Repurposing My Life

For this assignment, we were asked to take a piece of our writing and repurpose it in a completely different way.  I chose to do this with a autobiography I wrote in my first few months as a Freshman in high school.  I wanted to update it into a personal essay that told the tale of how I got to where I am today.  I picked out important moments from throughout my life that lead me to my most recent decisions.  I then chose to publish my piece in The New Yorker (it is not actually published FYI).  Enjoy!
